Role overview

Our client, a well-established organisation operating in the HVAC and technical solutions sector in Cyprus, is seeking to appoint a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead and develop its sales function during a period of continued business growth. This is a senior leadership role suited to a dynamic professional with strong commercial acumen and proven experience in driving revenue growth within a technical or engineering-oriented environment. Role Overview The Head of Sales will take responsibility for leading the sales team, shaping commercial strategy and ensuring the achievement of revenue and market growth targets. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, with a focus on strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and building a high-performing sales culture. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop the sales team, establishing clear performance targets and KPIs Define and execute sales strategies aligned with the company’s commercial objectives Monitor market developments and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities Analyse sales performance and prepare forecasts to support business planning Strengthen relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address client concerns in a professional and solutions-focused manner Collaborate internally to ensure that solutions offered meet evolving market and customer requirements Uphold high professional and ethical standards in all commercial activities What Success Looks Like Within the first 12–18 months, the successful candidate will: Strengthen the performance and accountability culture within the sales team Drive measurable growth in market share within the HVAC solutions sector Expand relationships with key clients and industry partners Introduce stronger sales planning, reporting and forecasting processes Contribute to the organisation’s broader commercial and growth strategy Candidate Profile Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field Proven experience in a senior sales or sales leadership role Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building capabilities Customer-focused mindset combined with strong commercial awareness Fluency in both Greek and English Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic and results-driven environment Why This Role This position offers the opportunity to lead the commercial development of a well-established technical brand with a strong presence in the Cyprus market.
