Our client, a well-established organisation operating in the HVAC and technical solutions sector in Cyprus, is seeking to recruit a Sales Engineer to support the continued development of its commercial activities in the market. This role is suited to a technically skilled professional who combines engineering knowledge with strong commercial awareness and enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and industry partners. Role Overview The Sales Engineer will be responsible for supporting the sales and business development activities of the company’s HVAC product portfolio, including VRF systems and related solutions. The role requires a combination of technical understanding and commercial capability, with a focus on identifying opportunities, preparing technical proposals and strengthening relationships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for HVAC solutions Manage and follow up on tender opportunities to support successful project outcomes Identify and develop new business opportunities within the market Visit potential clients and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing customers Support the company’s market presence by proactively promoting its solutions and services Maintain professional relationships with consultants, architects and other industry stakeholders Provide technical pre-sales support to clients and project partners Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify commercial opportunities Support the development and planning of sales strategies for the product portfolio Manage multiple projects and client interactions simultaneously while maintaining high service standards What Success Looks Like Within the first 12–18 months, the successful candidate will: Build strong relationships with key clients, consultants and project stakeholders Contribute to the successful completion of tender opportunities and new project wins Strengthen the company’s position in the HVAC solutions market Demonstrate strong technical and commercial capability in managing client opportunities Candidate Profile Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field Previous experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role Strong commercial awareness combined with technical understanding of HVAC systems Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities Good computer literacy and familiarity with technical and office tools Fluency in Greek and English Why This Role This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established technical organisation with a strong presence in the HVAC sector.
